The fifth design is nothing more than a re-tooled version of an old blog I have some stuff on, with different colors and background. I was far more adventurous with the transparencies on the old blog… I might have to get tweaking the fifth, too, see how it works for the reds and the white on the background.

I love the first design personally. The fifth design is cool too, but I would probably try to make the text fields just a tad more transparent. Just enough to make the background a little more visible. If it’s just a little bit all the text should still be very readable.
