I have simple contract terms for all services, which are as follows:
- Fees are in US funds, via Paypal or electronic transfer only.
- Fees up to $50.00 must be paid upon contract agreement, and are held until the project is complete.
- Everything over $50.00 must be paid 50% up-front as a deposit, with the remaining 50% upon completion of project.
- Due to the nature of electronic works, I will only refund half of the 50% deposit within the first 30 days provided work has started on the project. While I understand things come up, for both freelancer and client, once work has begun I must be paid for my time. If work has not started, a full refund is issued within the first 30 days.
TERMS FOR PAYMENT BY OTHER MEANS (at my discretion):
- Checks – 75% upfront, dated the day of hire, with 25% post-dated check for 30 days following.
- There is a 30 day hold (project on hold) while funds clear.
- Cancelled or NSF checks will have a $45 fee incurred, and the project will be returned unfinished.
- Payment in goods from my Amazon or Heaven and Earth Designs* wish lists is acceptable, though I will hold work until I receive a copy of the purchase receipt and shipping notice.
Once you become a client, you will be eligible for the occasional discount of 10-30%, which will be announced via email.
I will not accept any project I’ve edited via Marked in Red for Belfire Press as it presents a conflict of interest. If asked, I can advise on other markets for your work.
