That is so cool – and sounds very much like he’s a spirit guard, keeping watch over the burial site, and the current residents. :) Particularly without leaving claw marks behind – even when we had the bears just ‘passing through’ they left marks everywhere. It’s like an “I was here” thing LOL.

If you ever decide you want to see him, I bet leaving a bit of tobacco (loose kind) where he’s been seen will get his attention. :)
