When I see someone’s hard work going to the outhouse without TP, I get pissy. When I see MY hard work going that way, through no fault of my own (or the other worker drones), I get really pissy. That’s when I start thinking maybe the folks in charge should be wiping their own asses with barbed wire, rather than dividend cheques and cash earned from others’ content.<\/p>\n
If I hadn’t promised someone I’d do something, I would throw in the towel and say fuckit. No – I’d say FUCKIT.<\/p>\n
And I can say that here, because it’s my website, and I’m the “folk in charge”. I don’t think it’s superficial. I’ve had my writing called superficial, because I don’t want it somewhere else anymore, and because of the format I use.<\/p>\n

Do I think it’s because of what I am, or who I am? No. I know better. It’s because I’m not as lap-dog loyal as I once was. For not being as accepting, encouraging and silent as I once was.<\/p>\n
I saw the inside of the beast, and I didn’t like it. I walked. Writers have rights too, and if you want professional work – stop treating them like drones buzzing along making honey. Start showing them some respect, some consideration.<\/p>\n

Just because I do think that place is gonna sink, does not mean I’m gonna run like a rat leaving Titanic. It means I’m cynical.<\/p>\n
