When I was six years old, I watched Exodus. I can’t really remember much, except for blue eyes. I followed those blue eyes from movie to movie the rest of my life. I was told once that no one had eyes like Paul Newman, but I knew someone that did. My grandfather’s eyes were just like his, always that twinkle of mischief deep in the blue. Gramps was 78 when he died, five years ago this weekend.<\/p>\n
