I wasn’t sure I was going to write about my health for the blog, but since it has\/is going to continue to affect my Belfire and freelance work schedule a little bit, I decided to make this post.

\nLiving in Canada, I’ve become spoiled to the luxury of universal health care. Granted, I’ve often wished that universality would extend to dental and optical, but for medical issues, I’m spoiled. <\/p>\n
After months of appointments and testing that have all been done at no cost to me, I have a diagnosis for one of the issues I went to the doctor for. There are a few courses of treatment, none of which are available to me mostly because I don’t have the money for it and our normal coverage doesn’t cover this kinda thing.<\/p>\n
And the preventative surgery I asked for years ago? Yeah, would have been a cure for this. It wasn’t covered then either, but it was offered, if I could pay for it out of pocket. Might I mention that the man that fucked with that part of our health system is from this town? <\/p>\n
I won’t post what it is, or what the symptoms are. Yes, I know that brings out the whole “pics or it didn’t happen” crowd, but if you really want the sordid details of the inner workings of my lady parts, then please – feel free to comment and I’ll email them to you. Also, there is a certain slimy troll that comes around here looking for things to crow about, and frankly he can go suck a fuck over in whatever little corner he finds to unroll his sleepsack. He doesn’t need to know any more than what I’m posting here today.<\/p>\n
I have a thing, and it’s making parts of my life difficult. It’s interfering with my time on the computer, so I’m now taking less client work and I’m going to be delegating more of the Belfire work.<\/p>\n
I am definitely feeling the spoiled child within, at least this week, throwing a tantrum when the one thing I want the most is the one thing I can’t have.<\/p>\n
