I’ve not been writing many blog posts lately, and in fact, I haven’t even been reading many blogs. The summer has become tedious, and my lack of consistent and well-paying jobs has been draining. I am keeping busy, but it’s low-paying or no-paying busy. <\/p>\n
I am busy working on edits for CM, reading submissions for Dead Bells and The New Bedlam Project as well as working out details for a side project a friend and I are working on. Whether or not that comes to fruition is another thing entirely, but details still need to be researched and banged out. <\/p>\n
While we do that, we work on re-shaping our relationship as well. Something else that should have been done long ago, and wasn’t.<\/p>\n
I still can’t believe it was really only Tuesday. Sigh.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n The problem is that I’m coming up on the time of year where migraines are almost daily, where I end up in far more pain than usual with my back and hips, and where I am generally just not in a good mood at all.<\/p>\n I tend to snap and snark at people for what I will usually overlook. I tend to think a comment made as an aside was actually something more. My senses are overly heightened between mid-August to late-October due to past issues and lack of a proper donor (no, I won’t go into that here, I’ve gone into it elsewhere and frankly that’s far more personal than I ever intended it to get) and this makes me extremely touchy on a lot of subjects.<\/p>\n Because of that, I want to apologize to the guys from chat the other night. I was quieter than usual, and when I did speak I did have some rather snarky moments and I probably should have kept a civil tongue. Truth it may have been, but it was still a truth that wasn’t necessary.<\/p>\n So, rather than jeopardize any budding or continuing friendships further, I am taking a break for a week or so, to get over the worst of it (the first bit is always the worst) and to get caught up, if not ahead, on a handful of projects that have been waiting patiently.<\/p>\n Laters.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" …but, by the time this is posted, it’ll be Wednesday.
