The girls and I ventured into an uncharted territory night before last, and we threw together a zucchini lasagna – we loved it. It was a much simpler recipe than what I’m posting below; we were out of pretty much everything but the zucchini and meat sauce. Still, this is basically the same recipe as my much loved regular lasagna, only with zucchini for noodles rather than pasta.

Slamming two weeks into one, since I missed last week after having an awesome post to put up. Think I can find it now? Think I can remember the bulk of it? Nope… I just remember the feeling of puffed-up pride as I was hitting the schedule button.
Yeah, now I think I dreamt it. Probably did. Or something.

Since I was off doing stuff and things at the hospital and for my mom, etc., I’m catching up on my Blog Circle posts now. Our fearless leader Keri posted the following for us to ponder back in June.

Urgh, yes this week has been one of those, again. Too. Thankfully tomorrow marks the first of a new month, and the beginning of the last weekend that I’ll need to be wonky. It’s focus time, time to move ahead, away, and forward.
