Belfire’s senior editor, the fabulous Ms. Tracy DeVore, is running an Indiegogo campaign to get her old-fashioned confection, Cinnamon Balls, launched into the world.
Being up here in Canada, I haven’t had a chance to try them yet, but I’m hoping a customs check will show I can order a batch soon. They look so good, and Carrie is a cinna-freak, so she’d be all over ’em too!

I’ve seen this one pop up a fair bit lately, mostly people sharing a pin they’ve nabbed for Pintrest, or via tweet, status, etc. Since it’s one of my favorites, I thought I’d share my recipe.

When it rains, it pours… and occasionally snows. The weather continues to drive me a wee bit doolally; it is, as my sister in law pointed out this past Saturday, as though Mother Nature is in the throes of PMS.
