No need to reply to that – I know it’s July. I know, because suddenly I have a lot of reading to do, and a lot of formatting/edits and what have you. Ya’ll are really pumping out some interesting stuff for TNBP and Necrotic Tissue!

And of course, with July comes JulNoWriMo. This year I’m doing a fan fiction cross-over to New Bedlam. The characters from my favorite PC video games (Thief, Thief 2) are coming to New Bedlam, or perhaps New Bedlam was always The City. I’m just over 12k in, and I’m enjoying it…so far. Sort of.

It’s always a little like pulling teeth once the WriMo actually starts.

The girls didn’t lose a single game during league play this year. Not one, and only one in a tournament. This weekend is the provincial championships, and when I was looking at the draw, I see our girls in the A draw. I don’t think they’ve ever been in the A bunch before, always in B, which usually means relatively early games. Not this year! We don’t have to leave here until noon-ish Friday and Saturday, and then somewhat early on Sunday if they get through to the finals.

I’m sure they will. These girls are damn good.

By the end of this week, I should have all the Belfire acceptances ready to go out, as well. We’d only done half in the spring, giving us some time for scheduling, etc. It’ll be nice to finally have all the ducks in a row! lol

Tomorrow it’s back to slush, edits and formatting. Friday, it’s slush, edits, formatting and basebal… o_O
