So it has come to this…

I threw out How to Date a Teenage Vampire. I’ll be keeping a semblance of the plot and the characters will stay the same – but an idea exploded behind my eyes this evening and I must kidnap the lot of them and take them to NaNo with me.
🙂 Which means my YA novel is going to be later than expected. I might miss the Delacourte deadline. I might have to shop it out next year. Or – it might go swimmingly and I’ll have it all ready to go by December 15th. I shall not obsess. I shall breathe…breathe…and NANO!
Oh, and I changed the title. Hehehe… My Boyfriend’s A Vampire. Keep watch in the NaNo Crazy category, and the Statistics page for semi-regular word count updates. 12 days and counting!

“I shall not obsess”…Can you provide any pointers on adopting that one? 😉
Best of luck.
HA! No, not really. 😉 I obsess on and over a lot of things. NaNo and deadlines are two of them.. 😉
BUT – if you continuously say “I will not obsess” over and over, that becomes the obsession over what ever it was you were previously obsessing on. 😉 And if that doesn’t make any sense – :p I was making hard decisions last night…lol :), and am only on my first cup of coffee for the day. It is daylight, isn’t it? 😉
I had to comment about your story “My Boyfriends A Vampire” — for the past couple months I’ve been writing a young adult fiction titled “My Mom’s A Vampire.” Just thought it was funny and had to mention it.
Take care!
That is too cool, Donna! I mean…wow 🙂 Courting Morpheus, and a close project!
Ooo – check your inbox! 😉
