Scratch That…

29 January 2011 3 Comments

Was it only one post ago that I lamented how quickly the time is passing, and how soon the girls would be moving out?

Scratch that. 18 months is not coming fast enough. I am really, dreadfully sick to death of the constant bickering and sniping. Rhia can’t open her mouth without Care jumping all over her, and vice versa, and gods forbid anyone ask anyone else for something, because the world will come to a bloody damn end.

If for just one day, we could work together instead of constantly against each other, maybe this shit around here would get done. But no… cooperation is too damn much to ask for.

I think at least one, if not both of them, need to start spending weekends elsewhere.

Be grateful you only have two. Multiply your horror by 1.5 and you get mine. Thank God one moved to New York and another is in college. The police have been less of a presence since we shipped a couple of the Three Demons of the Apocalypse away. If we can get the last one to go, She-Who-Must-Be-Obeyed and I can start having some fun.

You have my sympathies. My three did this in the six monthes before they were all out of the house. I was the one they wanted to escape from the most. I think this is teenage kids way of chewing through the umbilical cord. Messy, but necessary. They loved both Joe and I once they had to buy food, clean up, cook , housekeep and manage their own money. home looked like paradise. They all survived all right on their own as you know. i had one good cry when they left and that was the end of empty nest syndrome for me.

Mark – eeek. I’ve always been glad there are only two here..I can’t imagine more. Well, actually I can. But that means I have to hide under the covers with a bottle of something. ;)

Lorna – yep. It’s a messy business, growing up. And I do have to admit that I’ve had it relatively easy. The girls and I have far better relationships than most do, and they are pretty well behaved most of the time.

I’m thinking it has something to do with the uh…moon cycle…three women in the same house… etc. o_O hehehe
