The wonderfully talented Mr. W. at the Non-Horror Reader Survey conducted an interview with me, and it’s posted in time for Women in Horror month!
Belfire Bits with Jodi Lee. Leave a comment, let me know if I’m right, or horribly, horribly wrong.
There is also a wonderful post with a list of talented female horror writers – Women in Horror Recognition Month.
You really should take the survey while you’re over there, too. It only takes a few minutes, and it’s really interesting to see the responses!

Thanks Katey!
There are a few women writers who think that they’re not as successful as the guys, because they’re being discriminated against, and are putting it across the board on the rest of us as well. I know my comments will get their hackles up – whether or not they say anything anywhere is another thing entirely..LOL
I’ve never come across sexism as either a writer or editor. One client told me he prefers working with women editors because they don’t impress themselves on his work.
I’m really liking the fact that the numbers are growing in the slush piles, though!
