Many, many thanks to the folks who participated in the poll to help decide which project I will finish in the new year. It was an interesting experiment in seeing what everyone is looking for (from me) and I hope to finish up at least the first three on the list.

The poll ended at midnight on the 22nd, and the results are as follows:

#1 with 7 votes – short story collection*
#2 with 5 votes – Into the Mirror
#3 with 4 votes – Eternity Series**
#4 with 3 votes – New Bedlam
#5 with 1 vote – 1 for Sorrow

Into the Mirror will be my main focus for 2012. There is quite a big piece done already as it was my NaNo project last year. Before I begin to finish it, I’ll be going over the already-complete piece, editing, re-familiarizing myself with the story, and getting back into Shay’s head. It does put the story out of sync, as New Bedlam and 1 for Sorrow come before Shay’s story in the timeline. Then again, it is New Bedlam…

* As the poll progressed, I did some work on getting rights to re-print the shorts that have been published, and I’m pleased to announce that barring any further interruptions, I should be listing it in early January.

** I also saw that Eternity was climbing the poll, and pulled the old completed file out, cut it up again, and will be editing the next installment of the series for posting and release for New Years, on the anniversary of the first piece.
