Love is in the air, right? Or should be, anyway. Instead of buying him/her flowers and chocolates and crap, why not take her/him out for a fantastic meal somewhere, and read a bit of romantic prose, a juicy poem, a heavenly haiku?
Pffft. Yeah, I know. Lurve-schmurve! Let’s get down to our real love affair… words!
For Journalling:
Choose one of the quotes below, and see how it applies to your life, or how you’d like it apply to your life. Write it. Bonus points for doing all three!
As soon go kindle fire with snow, as seek to quench the fire of love with words. ~ William Shakespeare
We loved with a love that was more than love. ~ Edgar Allan Poe
It is difficult to know at what moment love begins; it is less difficult to know that it has begun. ~ Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
For Fiction:
An old ex calls after years of no communication. He or she has a secret that needs to be told, and it can only be told to you. What is it, and how do you react?
Visual:
love hate shirt by juice-box-love on deviantART
Auditory:
Got ya there with that last one, didn’t I? Sneaky…
Have a good one, don’t forget the words on the way!
