Writersphere – Prompts – 7-23-15

23 July 2015 No Comment

We’ve admitted defeat! Tuesday I called the landlord and asked for another month, as the honey pull is in full swing with the BeeGirl not only managing the honey house but also duty as hive brood technician. There is still some construction work needed at the other house, and we’re behind in packing and shedding some things we just don’t need anymore. Basically, we need the time.

It also gives me some breathing room to get Belfire sorted out. I’ve been unable to get caught up with email and files with everything else going on, so I’ll be neck-deep in Belfire for the entirety of Friday.

Writer’s Challenge:

Write about something you absolutely love.

For Journalling:

1) Look to your left. Write about the first object your gaze falls on; how and when did it come into your possession? What is it that makes you love it/hate it/want it?

2) Look to your right. Again, write about the first object your gaze falls on.

For Fiction:

1) Can you write a vampire story unlike any other out there? Give it a try, in 3k words or less.

2) If you’ve seen the movie Blade (and if you haven’t, you should), write a fan-fic, from the point of view of one of the non-vampire, blood rave attendees, 3k words or less. Search Blade Blood Rave on Youtube if you need a visual.

Visual:

So, what to do this Friday without #writeclub? Check out the many other sprint oppprtunities on Twitter using the hashtags #wordsprint #amwriting #wordwar and #1k1hr of course!

’til next time…
