Ah, the wonders of a brief coffee break after the bitter cold of the outside world, just before getting back to sorting words and punctuation for authors.

Cate, evil scary lady that she is, tagged me. She was tagged by KV Taylor. Both of them think their lives are/were uninteresting.

I beg to differ, and offer this as uninteresting:

1) I get up at roughly 7:30 AM every morning, except on holidays and weekends, when I wake up at 7:20 AM and scream at the injustice of the not-so-fabled inner-clock. This goes for those mornings when I’ve only been asleep for two or three hours, too.

2) I come from an extremely large, far-too-close-knit extended family. There are times when this is handy, but most days it’d be nice to be hit on by someone at a bar and NOT find out he’s your third cousin twice removed on your mother’s side. Or, to be hit on by someone at a bar who didn’t either date or fling with my either my closest female cousin, her mother or my mother. Better still, it’s even better if the guy doesn’t look closely, then say “Your dad and I were good friends. Wait… Are you SURE (blank) is your dad? Because you look a bit like my aunt, and your mom and I…” Needless to say, I’ve not spent much time in THAT bar ever again.

3) The biggest thrill in my day is Coronation Street, unless I get an acceptance, a rejection, or the girls do something amazing. So, basically, the biggest thrill in my day is Coronation Street.

4) One of my favorite console video games was Spot’s Adventure (I think that’s what it was called) for Sega Genesis. I miss that, and haven’t found the game, but my brother has let us use his Sega Genesis.

5) I’m terminally behind in everything. I like it that way.

6) I’ve stopped watching Braveheart once a week. I don’t know why, other than I’m busy with other things, but I realized recently that I’ve started to forget Stephen’s lines. I’m ashamed of myself, and must remedy that. There was a time when some folks online used to call me Stephen… because of my ability to spout his lines. *sniff*
Stephen is my name. I’m the most wanted man on my island. Except I’m not on my island, of course. More’s the pity.

7) I secretly enjoy playing Trivial Pursuit and Scrabble. Don’t tell my mother.
