Good food, good friends, good print?

I posted pics and a recipe on my Myspace blog:

Lasagna

I’m seriously considering freezing the leftovers, although I’ve taken them out of the pan and put them on a plate… I’ve got a handful of freezer containers that they may fit in.

I have to send a huge thank you to Louise. I was absolutely flattened by insecurities, stress and tension yesterday, and she talked me up again. I didn’t even have to be within ten feet of my mother, and *I* was gone.

I have severe mother issues and frankly there are times when I’m mentally transported back in time to being a 12 year old with no local friends and a woman screaming at me with varying phrases to the point I couldn’t even look anyone in the eye. Since 2003, and the care of one person in particular (even if for only six months…LOL), I’ve been working on that. Obviously, it’s slow going with many, many backslides.

So – thank you, Louise – you are the absolute best. :) *love n hugs*

I sent the first two chapbook covers to the printer by upload, late, late last night (technically, early this AM) and by 10 they were ready for pick up. I’m thinking the girls and I are heading out to get them right after school. While we’re not finished with the insides yet, I just… I had to order covers. LOL Things are progressing, so… what the heck. And I didn’t order in such huge numbers as to be crazy, just enough to get started with. Hopefully, they are well printed so I don’t have to go all apeshit on them, and that I can trust them for future orders and printings.

I’ve also set up an Etsy account. I love Etsy. Everyone is so talented and I am absolutely inspired every time I browse the items available. Eventually, we’ll have something there, I’m sure. :)

I did just order 5 sets of pillowcases for embroidery…hehehe.

GAH! I’ve had lasagna leftovers for 2 days now. People brought tons of food over for us after the baby was born. lots of lasagna. there was lots of pie, too. but somehow, none of that made it very long. Hmmm…

Baby? When what how? No, I know how… but when? I missed something!

Congratulations – and welcome to diapers and midnight feedings. LOL ;)

PS – lasagna seems to be the big thing for new parents. When Rhia was born, I had four of ‘em stuck in the freezer.
