So, I caved in to peer pressure and became a twit myself, attended some interesting chats, awarded the first round of Follow New Bedlam contest prizes and sold another few stories. It’s been a hella-busy couple of weeks.

I received the release letter for “Interludes” this week, meaning all rights to the novelette will revert to me as of November. I’ll be honest, I’m glad. I want to finish this one, and while I don’t regret being involved with Echoes of Terror, I had hoped for more out of it. I do not recommend anyone sign the dotted line for an anthology that pays in split royalties. 10k made me no more than $6.00 over two years (guesstimate includes upcoming payments, if any). Echoes will go out of print in fall.

Meanwhile, I’m working on the novella – Deluded, which includes the Interludes story.

Congratulations go to < - > (1st prize), nithska (2nd prize) and VMK_Fewings (bonus), winners of the first Follow New Bedlam contest. The second contest has begun – follow us on Twitter!

Gina Ranalli’s House of Fallen Trees

From the publisher:
“House of Fallen Trees offers ghosts but it also presents issues of guilt, the nature of sibling relationships, the claustrophobic nature of rural America to the urbanite. It’s an amazing novel on lots of levels and easily the best haunted house novel of the last 20 years.”

House of Fallen Trees available at Horror-Mall.

Zoe Whitten has released two more e-books! I’ve not started Little Monsters yet, but Zombie Punter is amazing. I highly, highly recommend reading Zoe’s work.

    I never thanked you?

I’m so sorry, Jodi. Things have been… well, spastic (to say the least) on my part.

    Thanks again,
