Busy Day
It may be a busy day, but I have to throw this up for those of you who don’t read Keene’s blog. Which you should do, even if you disagree with his views and thoughts.
*shakes head*
Now then…on with other bits.
I applied for and was accepted to a new pagan collaborative blog, The Pagan and the Pen. I’ll be posting every third Wednesday starting next week. I’m titling my posts “Bloodstained Quill” as a nod to my fiction writings, and to my slowly dying Myspace blog. Yes, you read that correctly – I’m tired of fighting with the interface every day. The main reason I’ve not been posting there is that I get errors almost every time, and it takes five attempts to get it posted.
I don’t know why Tom can’t leave well enough alone.
I’ve also stashed a post for Ghostwriters away in my folder, which I’ll edit and post sometime this weekend.
The slush for New Bedlam has been slushed, rejections and acceptances to follow shortly. I just want to hug everyone right now, that’s how good this issue is going to be.
Me. Hug. Yeah. The only downside to the project this week is that some of the prizes for the draws still haven’t arrived and I’m going back and forth on whether or not I should replace them with other things. :-/ Or, do I wait another near-week (they’ll be here Thursday) and ship out then? BAH! You’d think after this many years of running contests, I’d know…
I worked on Deluded last night, and after I clear an edit and a cover today, I’m going back to it. Something about that damn story will NOT let me go. Has anyone else gone back to their first NaNo and re-written the whole thing? I shouldn’t say whole thing, I’ve scrapped at least 35k. Right now I’m working out how to better combine the two POVs, and draw in the third…
