Crazy busy time
Hey folks,
I just wanted to post a brief update to let you know I am alive, things are just going to be crazy busy for the next few weeks.
But first, a bit of pimpage via linkage to things I’ve done or am doing shortly. First, my interview with D. Harlan Wilson is now live at AC. Check it out!
I’ve had my day at The Pagan and The Pen, and I really enjoyed it. Next time I think I’m going to tackle something a lot less me and a lot more something else.
Being a first post, it’s natural to write about oneself, right? Oh pfft. It is, and you know it. x-P
I haven’t had the nerve to post my thoughts on spirit animals at Ghostwriters Society yet, but… I’m thinking I’ll sneak in there tonight and do it. I have to admit to feeling a bit out of place, really – Bob’s actually done a lot of ghosthunting, and Jim is (besides being an amazing guy who earned my everlasting devotion with a special gift added to my Ebay purchases last year…) a real PI. I’m…a sensitive/empath in a house full of the pulse-deprived. I am desperate for a real hunt, and I know just the building I want to go to, if I can track the owner down, get some insurance and equipment and get there. I loved the building when I lived in it, and I hate to see the ruin it’s in now.
That will have to happen later in the summer, because…
Somehow, I’ve managed to paint myself into a corner with six editing projects, four covers, a possible website deal and baseball. See, none of this would be a bad thing, except baseball is so flippin’ weird right now. I don’t think we’ve played more than five original game dates. I’ve been told it’ll settle down next year, when most of the girls have finished driver’s education and moved on.
I bloody hope so.
I didn’t mention, I’m also still working edits on Courting Morpheus and putting together the next issue of The New Bedlam Project as well as writing more on Deluded. I’m starting to feel a bit that way within the small press arena, but – I’m sure it’s just a phase. LOL If not, I’m sure I can track a cure for my supposed high ideals and expectations.
Keep writing, keep thinking, keep moving, keep loving!

It never fails…whenever I feel swamped, I read your blog and realize that I really don’t have THAT much going on…
Good god, Jodi, that’s mad! Then again, being busy makes for more fun times than being bored. Checking out the interview now, good stuff so far.
It’s a rough time of year for me, for a multitude of reasons, so I like to keep busy. But..this year seems to be even more busy than usual. LOL
Then again, I like it. Means I can crash out the last two weeks of August and just veg with the girls before school (and new projects) start.
Don’t ever accuse me of being the one who doesn’t sleep ever again!
LOL BT – no one in New Bedlam sleeps…
