From the Writersphere 6.0
I know this was supposed to have been posted last Friday, but things have been far crazier and strange than I could properly handle, so here it is today.
It’s not as big as the last few, but that’s okay… maybe next time.
First, you all need to get over to The New Bedlam Project before Issue 1 gets archived. I’m not sure if I can make the viewable archive work (it hasn’t been as yet) in a proper manner, so who knows if it’s going to be readable after the 1st of July. I’m also working on a new theme for it, hopefully one that will fix the archive problem and be more user friendly. The final two stories are currently in editing and this issue is going to be a MEGA-load of insanity. I can hardly wait, and I’ve read ‘em all already.
The last week of the Twitter contests are now upon us, as well. If you can make The Funky Werepig visit New Bedlam in 140 characters or less – tweet it (follow @thefunkywerepig and @newbedlam first!) and you could win $5, $3 or $1.40. The big bucks. And on July 1st, we’ll be drawing for the last two winners of the Follow New Bedlam contest.
Fun times.
Litha chapbooks still available! Get ‘em while the gettin’ is good!
If you think you’ve laughed enough, you haven’t. If you think you’re a prolific writer – you’re not. I can prove it. Beat this:
Eric S. Brown on The Funky Werepig. Go. Listen. You may recognize someone there… o_O
Jeremy C. Shipp is pimpin’ some goods, and they look yummy:
Bizarro Bytes
Michele Lee is doing all kinds of wonderful things these days (Book Love, as an example) but the biggest has got to be Rot. I can’t wait to get my hands on this one… the buzz is fantastic so far!
This past week we’re wishing Louise Bohmer well as she leaves Lachesis Publishing (and the imprints). She leaves a giant hole that it’s going to be hard for the publisher to fill. Good thing I’ve tucked myself into her pocket (ssssh, don’t tell!) so I can tag along….
You really need to get a copy of The Black Act, NOW. Why? Because Louise also bought out the remainder of her contract, and any copy published by Lachesis Publishing is soon to become a collector’s delight.
It won’t be out of print for long, though – Louise has dangled it in front of very eager eyes, and it will soon be hitting the shelves again. Grab the first edition, then get the second…will you see a difference? I bet you will!
Remember folks, The New Bedlam Project opens to submissions in just over a week. Give BT a run for his money as punishment for being a wicked, wicked tease!
j/k BT…j/k!
And that’s it for this issue. Watch my AC channel for a new interview and review, later tonight…
Joe McKinney… Dead City.
(if this works, it should do a tweet announcement… *fingers crossed*)

Okay, time for me to get into some trouble in New Bedlam.
Yep – c’mon folks and try me! I won’t be sore or hunt you down or anything if you get an acceptance before me…honest I won’t. I’ll even give you a head start. I promise I won’t submit until the second week of July ;c)
Jeremy, yes it is. We have a ce..er…room waiting for you.
BT – you’re making me crazy. x-P
