Another pub for The Lion Roared

I just received an email from LB Goddard at The Monsters Next Door, letting me know that The Lion Roared has been accepted for publication in the special edition of the magazine, titled Road Trip.

Having first appeared on The Moonlit Path website as an honorable mention, then in Tainted: Tales of Terror and the Supernatural from Strange Publications, this’ll be it’s third publication. I’ve only subbed that story four times… it seems to be the most appreciated one of the bunch. After this my darling shall rest quietly in a little folder, tucked away for a while, awaiting my final decision on doing a collection at some point. In the meantime, I shall dream of more creepy kids, snow storms and digits in Vienna Sausage cans. Something must be tasty there in that combination.

Many thanks to LB and TMND for the opportunity to re-publish what’s become one of my own favorites!

    Well deserved. As mentioned in my review at the time, I may be biased but I love stories about weird and very creepy kids.

    You’ve just decided for me that the next book I read when I finally finish this beast will be Tainted. It’s been sitting on my shelf mocking me for months! This cannot be allowed!

    I think I’m going to go through my list of prompts from Mike Arnzen, and start doing some shorts. Long fic has abandoned me for a party down the street. ;)
