What’s coming up…

10 October 2009 2 Comments

I swear Twitter is evil. I spend more time twittering than I do writing posts for my various blogs and writing in general. I really do need to rectify that, don’t I? Well, if nothing else, follow me (check the sidebar) and you’ll know what’s going on at any given time in the day. Usually.

Now, I’ve got some things coming up that I thought I’d tease you with. First off, Louise Bohmer has graciously taken the time from her crazy schedule of editing and promoting her novel, The Black Act, to write a guest blog for me. I often refer to her as my PoV guru, because she knows the issues of head hopping inside and out, and knows the right names for ‘em, too. ;) Her post will be live next Friday, sometime around 6am.

I’ve applied to have the site host an adbox from Project Wonderful. It’ll be a 2×2 box for minis (buttons, basically) which will go in the sidebar. The proceeds from these adboxes (I’m also expecting to add them to Sacred Triskele and the main New Bedlam site) are going to support The New Bedlam Project webzine. :)

Dead Bells closes for submissions on Thursday, October 15th. You’re cutting it pretty close folks, if you’re working on something. Get it in!

I have another Writersphere blog coming up on the 30th of the month. If you’d like to see something included, please let me know jodi – jodilee.ca.

I have no news about Courting Morpheus. I can’t really say anything more at this point, but I’m hoping to have something for ya soon.

NaNoWriMo is upon us, and I’ve offically joined for this year. Again. You knew it was coming. I’ll be unavailable for edit projects or design projects during that time, as a previously contracted client holds those spots that are available while I’m NaNo’ing my head off.

I will have a huge announcement for everyone at Samhain – October 31st. It’s huge for me and a couple other folks, anyway. Stay tuned. ;)

That’s it for now, I think… Oh, don’t forget to check The Funky Werepig this weekend. Mike McCarty and Mark McLaughlin will be on, so it promises to be a crazy-fun-happy show. :)

Jodi, sounds like you’re busy as hell– but in a good way. See you at Nano this year, then :D
