Gina tagged me the other night, and I totally forgot to do the deed. So, here it is, with a bonus I ganked from Poppy Brite’s last blog post – I know I usually save these for the Myspace blog (sorta) but I figure some writers that wanna hit Apex or LBF might take a gander at what I post, and think about it.
I tag Louise and Kevin, most particularly, Gina on the second one. *weg*

The latest issue of Apex Digest Online is available, and includes my combined interview with the Sinister Minister, Maurice Broaddus and the Superwriter, Wrath James White. The interview goes along with two pieces of short fiction from the pair, as well as a push for their Apex published, Orgy of Souls. You all know you want it, just admit it and go buy a copy. Trust me, you’ll love it.
Also appearing – my green hair.
Moving on, Jason gives us a lecture on revenge-writing. Yes, he’s right – we Apex editors …
I declined Blu Phier’s offer of publication in the Night of the Working Dead Anthology. Said anthology has now been scrapped, with the owner’s excuse of “some staff went ahead with projects without authority from upper level management”. Yeah…whatever. Since the end of June, or thereabouts, Blu Phier has been imploding, pretty blue sparks landing everywhere. Writers who I had initially lost some or all respect for (because of the NWD problems), have been clamoring to run away from Bernoudy as fast as they can.
The Rusty Nail and Janrae Frank …
I’m X-Posting these here as well. Denessa was a much stronger woman than I could ever hope to be.
In 2001, I was involved with the Teen Witch Forum at Delphiforums (later to be Teen Witch Online). It was through TWF/TWO and Pagan Pride that I became loosely aquainted with Tempest Smith’s mother, Denessa. She provided us with a lot of information and interview tapes for our use to build the anti-bullying section of the website. Sadly, I lost touch with her after I left TWO in 2004.
Tempest Smith committed …
I won’t be available the evenings of League games, the weekends of tourneys, and the week of July 16th-22nd. After July 22nd, I promise to keep the baseball posts to a minimum.
Regular League Game Wrap-up:
Well, we lost two games during regular league play this year. At least in the second case (June 14) I know it was a fair game. As for the other… well, I’m glad we’ll have an alternate ump kicking around when we’re in play-offs. Yeah, the Altona girls are good, but it was very …

This, this was some seriously good snark. Thanks to Murder by 4 for the link tip. All writers should read this article, and in fact, so should all editors and agents, too.
How Important is Your Book Deal
I have had people cross my inbox/desk with proposals which have gone on to a full request – who, when they don’t like what I have to say, have threatened to, or actually gone to, my boss, Carole. Good for them, says I. It wastes her time and frustrates her, as she is so …
