Well, I think a months worth of scheduled blog-posting went pretty well, and I want to thank the folks that guested, were interviewed and reviewed over the month…and of course, everyone that commented. I’m hoping to get around to replying to comments this weekend…
NaNo was really different for me this year. After about a week and a half or so, I had to spend less time writing, but it seemed that the few moments I could steal to add to the WiP, I added more than I had been previously. …

Rejection: the Only Chance of the Small Press

In a recent conversation, a good writer-friend of mine expressed the following: “It’s too easy to get published these days. No one wants to hear the word ‘no’. No one wants to wait, anymore. To work on their craft, get better. There are too many small presses publishing too many bad books. This is not ‘freeing the writer.’ It’s destroying publishing.”

It’s never too late for second chances, but there’s only one second chance…

So, this is what I’ve been working on this month, another novel in New Bedlam. Here’s the first little bit, rough as it is, but perhaps it’ll whet your appetite for more!
