So, here is the look at things from 2009 that are specifically writing related.
Two acceptances carried over from 2008, The Legless Ones in The Black Garden Anthology, and It Never Lasts Forever in 52 Stitches ‘zine AND Anthology.
I did not finish any of the novels in progress.
I wrote 7 new shorts, and perhaps some day I’ll fix ‘em up and get ‘em into circulation.

2009 had amazing ups and downs for me, like a giant roller-coaster. I know it was like that for many others in the publishing world as well, from writers to editors right down to the very publishers themselves.

So, here we are, just shy of a month before Christmas. You really wanted to be reminded of that, didn’t you? Have YOU finished your shopping yet? If you haven’t, I have some suggestions, if you have, has anyone told you lately that you’re an overachiever? Just kidding.
Sort of. Overachiever.
Yes, that has been my word for November. Overachiever. Some of my friends from NaNoWriMo and NaNoWriYe and their amazing NaNo word counts, some from really early on – overachievers.
Speaking of NaNo… I have officially given up for this year. …
