I have strange ideas and odd plans at 3:30 AM. It’s now 4 AM, and here I am, giggling away like a mad woman, with the plot already in motion.
Just when I’ll find time to do my own writing is beyond me, but I do so enjoy the idea of throwing a lifesaver out onto the choppy waters of publishing…

More info will come, I promise. But for now, I’ve gotta get some sleep..LOL

War of the Worlds: Frontlines that is.
I received notice that my story, My Beautiful Boy, was accepted into Northern Frights Publishing’s War of the Worlds: Frontlines anthology. It is an homage (one of two they’re releasing soon) to HG Wells and War of the Worlds. I guess you’d probably figured that out, huh?

My tongue in cheek (No, really. Honestly!) piece titled “Trip ‘em” was just accepted into Library of the Living Dead’s The Moron’s Guide to the Inevitable Zombocalypse edited by Tim Long (author of Among the Living).
Got some work done, not as sniffly, great email from the Boss Zombie himself, and an acceptance from Tim. Damn good day!

So, I don’t remember if I did this here last year, and I’m so lazy today I’m not going to go look. I know I’ve done it other years, and at least once on Louise’s old forum…the first one, not the last one.

2009 had amazing ups and downs for me, like a giant roller-coaster. I know it was like that for many others in the publishing world as well, from writers to editors right down to the very publishers themselves.
