I didn’t realize how late it’s gotten… I was three chapters from the end of Samhain’s Call at 2:00 AM, and I figured one more wouldn’t hurt me.

Here I am, 5:00 AM, and it’s done. For the third time since I originally wrote the scene, Jon has died. I think maybe it was my Marked in Red article that made me think about characters and getting it done. If I were a superstitious person, I’d have to wonder about the validity of third time is the charm… will the real Jon please make himself known so I don’t have to wonder if I’ve actually killed him off? No wait, probably not a good idea. Too many raw spots.

(not that that wouldn’t be interesting in and of itself, but that’s another horror story down the road.)

There is one scene missing entirely, and I’m considering leaving it out all together. It’s not really missed, at least I don’t think so.

Now that this is done I can get back to OTHER work! *whew*
