At last, NaNoWriMo winds to a close. I finished yesterday evening, and although the story itself is not complete, I verified my file. I am NOT making the same mistake as last year by putting it off until too late. I *did* finish last year, but when I got to the site to verify, it was just a bit too late. I think it was somewhere shortly after 1 AM…

*sigh* And it’s not going to be ready for the Delacorte deadline, but perhaps next year. Or not. There are a lot of other publishers out there that publish YA.

Anyway, the current novel in progress is still in progress. I am going to spend December working on re-writes and edits of past works, get them submitted to what closes by the end of December, or early January. Honestly, visiting these older stories and putting new thought to them is making me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. No, really. Warm and fuzzy. A bit drunk. Ok, yeah, I’m a bit drunk…but not alcohol…I’ve been doing the insomnia again. I got some sleep this evening, an when I woke up, I felt drunk.

Unless I was drinking in my sleep…
