Oh What A Beautiful Day!
I did it, I did it, I did it!
50,000+ words in 17 days. And I was worried about doing 50,000 in 30 days…at one point I was averaging 5000 a day. Had I managed that, from day one ’til today, I’d have been finished completely, I’m sure.
But I’m done, at least for the requirements for NaNo. The story doesn’t seem to have an end in sight, and I do still have at least 2 people to kill. I’ve considered adding another few..ya know how it goes, toss in people from your past (or present), come up with interesting ways to add them to the body count, and voila. Instant satisfaction.
(snooty country club voice over) And if one is really good at maintaining visualizations, each and every time one must deal with said irritant, one can always imagine the utter horrors one has subjected them to. (end snooty country club voice over)
I think I managed as much as I have since Saturday because I spied that typewriter at the auction. Danserak immediately claimed it, and yes – that includes the itty-bitty flag mounted on Mount TapeReel.
Ah…it feels so good to have completed something (even if the story is only half told) and still have the fire to keep going. I think I see another body getting tossed on the pile now…

I cannot imagine that many words in such a short
time, but good for you. Enjoying site, Jodi.
