The Golden Compass – not as good as I thought it would be, and yet kinda wonderful at the same time. Except for the stupid ending. I hate open endings…

Life is Beautiful – Sixx AM. I’ve had a lifelong crush on Nikki Sixx, and when The Heroin Diaries popped up on Myspace, I was so there. I listened to this on that page, and immediately added it to mine. I know it’s not him singing, but it’s his song. Ya know? I know – shut up, fnngrl.

* What’s your guilty-reading pleasure?
Blogs. Three years ago, I scoffed at the blogginess of the internet, but it didn’t take me long to jump in the pool, too. I love reading author blogs, and better yet – anonymous blogs. I have a few favorites.

* Say something about the last poem you wrote!
I didn’t. I don’t do poetry. Well I have done, but it’s forgettable, obviously, because I don’t remember it.

It’s set in the cold, in the dark, in the damp. And if you get that, leave a comment.

* Last story you recommended to someone?
Vacation, by Jeremy Shipp. I kept trying to give Dobhailen a copy of it this week, but he was so overtired every morning when he got here (for me to keep him awake until the post office was open and mail was sorted) that he kept forgetting it.
