I sat here the other night, sleepless and feeling very Natalie Umbruglia…

And pulled out last years NaNovel. It’s not finished, and I have this feeling it should probably stay that way. But I did pull about 1000 words from it and then went to work on a short for the Echoes of Terror Anthology, from Lachesis Publishing. I don’t know if it’s anything they’ll like, but…it was worth writing out that particular part of the story I tried to tell last fall.

So, now I’m 8000 words ahead on my WriYe, further along than I thought I’d be for this month. Actually, I really must compile all of my files this weekend and add up the word count and get it sent in. I haven’t verified since June I think. Or maybe I did do one in August..I can’t remember.

Either way, it’s past time to get a solid number to work from.

Still though, wish me luck with “Interludes”!
