Squished Schedule – Updated

25 August 2008 One Comment

The schedule for this week is crazy, so this is likely to be my last post (or not, who knows) until after the 3-Day Novel competition next weekend. And it goes as follows:

PM – edits on TFD; merges on The Legacy of Sleepy Hollow by Morgan LeShay (LBF Books)
late PM – Apex/CM approvals, cover re-design; edit approvals, CE files creation on Dreaming Creek by Edmund Schubert (LBF Books)

Tuesday AM – emails; edits on TFD; merges on Heroes’ Welcome by Michael Graves (LBF Books)
PM – Final pre-print for LSH and HW; finishing edits on TFD

Wednesday AM – emails; copy edits on Angel Wings by Edward Diez (LBF Books)
PM – ce on AW; edits on Shadow Dreams by Teri Barnett (LBF Books)

Thursday AM – emails; copy edits on I Remember the Future by Michael A. Burstein (Apex Book Company)
PM – edits on SD; copy edits on Solar Sea by David Lee Summers (LBF Books)

Friday AM – emails; finishing up final pre-print, ce files creation, etc.
PM – touching up DJ’s website; finishing template for Louise’s The Black Act webpage.

As of Friday at midnight (officially the start of the competition) I’m out of touch until September 2nd.

Also, in the last two days the girls and I have noticed an unusual number of spiders in the house, and we’ve identified the ones that seem to be everywhere. Hobo spiders, and brown recluse spiders are now added to the garden and orb spiders. Oh joy, oh bliss. ;) The cats are enjoying the new edible playmates, but one of the kittens was bitten last night and seems to be in a bit of pain today.

I hate spiders, and have been known to spend a week at my mothers rather than deal with infestations… ever since we moved into this house, it’s been bad. So – we’re going to be gutting and cleaning the house, again. Hopefully that’ll stall these monsters.

*shudder*

Holy crap! Brown recluse spiders are nasty! I hope that’s not the kind that bit your kitty :(
