Friday News Wrap-Up
Tainted News:
Tainted has been released, and in celebration Aaron is running a contest on his blog – you could win a free copy! Check it out: http://aaronpolson.blogspot.com/
Samhain News:
I may or may not be putting out a Samhain newsletter. I haven’t done a newsletter since I don’t remember when, due to my schedule and lack of anything really newsy to say. I may just slap up a poll and see if anyone really wants to continue on with that…or just stop by here and read the news as it happens. Or something.
Apex News:
Well, it’s been an amazing ride at Apex Publications for the last two years, but due to my ever-increasing work load from LBF and Lachesis (and that surprise thingy I’ve been holding out on everyone over) I’ve tendered my resignation with Jason as of this morning. I don’t think he’s very happy with me, but – I don’t feel too guilty about the slush pile, because he’s got an amazing new bunch of slushies over there that have been zipping through it like ice cream at a toddler’s b-day party. Not to mention the senior staff, who of course, remain amazing no matter.
Remember folks, Apex Digest is now a FREE monthly webzine with content from new and established writers alike, not to mention non-fic from the stunning Alethea Kontis, fabulous Lavie Tidhar and more.
If I were a sci-fi writer, I’d be slathering the submissions inbox with oozy aliens, but I’m not. So – I suspect a lot of you stopping by here ARE sci-fi writers. Apex went pro in July, folks – five cents per word. That’s a lotta cents per word. So, dust ‘em off, tighten ‘em up and get ‘em into the submissions address! They don’t bite.
Much.
Often.
Well, not hard anyway.
I have heard Jason pinches, but I’ve yet to see proof of that.
Courting Morpheus News:
And that brings me to CM. Yes, CM will go on, however I’ve decided to bring the project with me and will look for another publisher. This was a move on my part and I apologize to all who are disappointed.
Other News:
I may or may not have forgotten to take a step back during a call for volunteers for something. You may or may not be interested in it. I may or may not want to give details. Horror writers, comment here and I may or may not give you more information.

Good luck again, Jodi.
Thanks, Cate!
oooh…horror volunteers! I’m in. If you choose to share the info. or not. or…okay now I’m confused.
LOL Barry! I was just over at your site…
I’ll email ya.
Thanks for the plug. …and I’m always in to volunteer, or not–or what Barry said.
I may or may not want info, and I may or may not read any email you may or may not send.
