Goddess of Edits Proclaims Wonderous Day
I am extremely pleased with myself. If I had feathers, I’d ruffle them…
I just finished cutting 4100 words from a contest entry that started out somewhere around 4850. And the story still makes sense, and flows well. For those of you who don’t think editing like that can be done, think again.
Another review in for Fire & Ice, this one from Fallen Angel Reviews. I want to thank everyone that voted for me in their November Author of the Month contest; I didn’t win, but an amazing author did, so I don’t feel bad. Everyone needs to check out Audra Price (part of the wonderduo, Stella and Audra Price) at the nearest erotica e-book shop!
The rights to Fire & Ice have reverted to me after my contract lapsed, October 13th. I chose not to renew. Therefore, all Forbidden Publications/Fire & Ice relevant material will be removed from the site.
Keep your eye on the blog for updates on Kabhan & Siobhan’s adventures in Eternity!
Updated October 29th, 2007
And since it’s the 30th, I have to be off, formatting my one and only file that I will have verified for NaNo. The other – not so much. In fact, I want to cry when I think that the further adventures of Siobhan and Kabhan are so hard to write. I know I had inspiration the last time around, but seriously, I have quite the imagination. How can writing about mind-blowing paranormal sex be so difficult? Not to mention when you’ve already got the characters down…
Don’t worry, for fans of Fire & Ice and the happy couple, there will be work done on this one.
In total, I’m guessing my NaNo counts to come out somewhere around 55,000. Sad, so sad.
