Needless to say, this disturbed my mother, when Care sang it, word for word (and with sound effects, too) at one of the family dinners. This year, when it’s time for us to leave her house, I’m going to have Care sing it. Again. With actions to go with the lyrics and sound effects.

Care singing this song repeatedly should pretty much guarantee our freedom around 10PM on the 25th. And, if that doesn’t do it – my telling her that the girls and I are doing Christmas in our own house next year will probably have her kicking us out shortly thereafter. The girls have had one – just one – Christmas dinner in their own home, in their entire lives. One. I agreed to this year under duress, but I’ve put my foot down about next year – we will attend one, 1, uno, un, family function next year. Not three, not four. One. And honestly, I don’t care what the family thinks of it… erm. Yeah. Rant not happening. >;)
