A Holly Lisle Quiz

Thanks to Mari Adkins for sending me this link!

Are You Right For Writing? by Holly Lisle is one of those interesting quizzes you see online from time to time. Well, at first it looks like an interesting little quiz and then you realize – she’s in your head. Or in your room looking over your shoulder, or worse yet…that little light on the monitor? That’s her hidden camera.

I’m only half-joking there folks.

I took the quiz, read the responses and suddenly felt trapped. Knee deep in plot-bunnies and pages of notes (some sticky, some not) with the faint tinkle of evil-character laughter ringing in my ears. I’d thought – no, hoped – that someday, after I’d finished writing each of these lurking characters stories they’d fade quietly into the night, satisfied. Apparently not, it seems as though I might have to let some hang around for a while. Besides Kabhan and Siobhan that is ;)

Take the quiz if you think you’re a writer. Actually, out of curiosity – take the quiz anyway. See what you get!

I really disagree with HAVING to have a quiet room.
    I gotta 81.

I gotta agree with ya on that Kevin (and the emailed comments I’ve had too, mention that…). I always have the radio going or, depending on what I’m working on, a CD. Complete silence creeps me out.

I couldn’t get through it because there wasn’t a “best” answer for me for any of the questions. Does that make me strange, or just not fit to be a writer?

Yeah well, some of us gotta have complete silence now and then or we go even crazier.
