Yeah, it’s cold.
I believe this current cold snap is a result of my snickering at Bret and Alethea and a handful of others down south. See, they had snow in places that rarely, if ever, have any. I lol’d in their comments sections. I actually emailed one pagan friend from down Texas, an email consisting of nothing more than HA HA HA HA!
I didn’t sympathize.
Maybe I should have. The heaters in my house have been running non-stop for at least this last hour that I’ve been awake, and probably longer than that. Despite my whining during the summer that I missed the old house, even though the furnace crapped out if it got below -20, I am now grateful that these old baseboard heaters are working. Knock on wood.
It’s cold. This is from the Miami MB page on the Weather Channel’s website.

Brrrr…. Good day to be pre-heating the oven and baking all that cookie dough I have chilling in my fridge.

Oh dear we’re 7 degrees C and I think it’s freezing.
Okay. That’s cold. Really freakin’ cold.
Yeah, we got the same thing here in Colorado basically. Was negative seventeen Sunday afternoon when I left for work at 4:30 pm. When I came home at 5:30 AM it’s negative 26. Still amuses me when Southerners freak out over an inch of snow. LOL
Ha! That’s T-shirt weather!
Yup. Now I wish they’d cancel school for today, so the girls and I can clean house and decorate…
The weather channel was saying Colorado was getting similar temperatures. The sooner it’s over for you, the sooner it gets over for us..
