Interview Series, Review Series

23 December 2008 One Comment

I decided to get some non-LBF work done this morning, seeing as I flaked out at 10 last night, so I was up at 4. Seriously… for an insomniac that’s great, but it would have been better had it been 11-6. It was an emotional day yesterday, so I can just forgive myself that two hours. Better sleep than no sleep, anyway, right?

I re-organized my stuff for Associated Content. I’m seriously enjoying posting work there… which is odd for me, considering my experience at that other content site (inserting gagging and retching sounds here). I think I’ve got another two, maybe three, Wheeks and Whistles. Following that, I’m thinking I’ll pop up my old Write Stuff articles. We’ll see.

Anyway, I’ve contacted another 25 folks for interviews, and should they all accept, I’ll have enough interviews to go all next year; some weeks will even have two interviews. The folks who responded to the earlier shout out (Lachesis, LBF and Permuted Press authors) should be receiving their emails this morning… or sometime today.

I hope to do a review a week as well, since I have a great many review copies of books… as I’ve mentioned before, some of these are well past the “New Release” stage and I imagine a few have found their way to the discounted tables already. Never the less… I can’t resist sharing my opinion, particularly since most of these folks sent their books to me gratis.

But I won’t go into the hows and whys of that particular issue.

I have to nod to Aaron Polson for sparking the idea. Strange Publications is doing 52 Stitches – publishing one flash story a week for 2009. My submission, It Never Lasts Forever, will be appearing online April 26th. I mulled it all over, and realized that while I hadn’t met my ‘interview a month’ goal for 2008 (again, won’t get into it) I could feasibly do 52 for 2009. Or possibly more, as stated above.

So, thank you, Aaron! Ahem… check your inbox. ;)
