Danserak must appreciate being rubbed the right way, because right now the only thing coming out of my fingertips is semi-erotic supernaturals. I’ll let him keep this up for a while, but I know it’s time to head back to the straight horror when the MC in the nights dream sequence is breaking my neck, literally. I tell ya, it’s not a pleasant sound. Kinda like popcorn, only sharper.

Fire & Ice came back to me yesterdat, final edits approved and finished and now I’m on pins ‘n needles waiting for a cover. It’s only one month until release, so..hopefully soon..LOL

At some point in the next few weeks, I should be receiving a “Fire & Ice” set of Garnet jewelry as part of a prize package I’m putting together for a ‘release-party-contest’. Everyone that buys a copy of “Fire & Ice” in a set amount of time will be entered to win the contest. I’m not sure of what all I’ll be putting in it, but a gorgeous set of actual garnet and sterling earrings, and an imitation garnet ring (also sterling) is part of it.

Finally, I want to say a goodbye to my aunt, Sybil James. She passed away last week at just shy of 96. Most of my friends have heard me talk about her – she’s been one of my heroes for as long as I can remember; the first woman in our family to be divorced, and never afraid to speak her mind, she encouraged me too, to follow my heart (and stuck a $100 bill in my hand to do it!). She’s going to be sorely missed in our family. Ta, Auntie Sybil!
