Magus Press Contest

23 April 2007 2 Comments

David Montoya of Magus Press has a contest running too! I don’t know why I’m bothering to tell you all, because frankly – I’m going to win. ;)

Well anyway, the contest involves Magus Press’ first anthology, “Other Things…Other Places“. I snipped this from a post David made:

The contest (in which the first prize winner will win up to $175 dollars–and the grand prize is actually rising– worth of stuff, and two other people will walk away with $25 dollars worth of stuff) is simple.

The person who finds the most grammatical errors wins. It’s a fun little competition. The competition closes once three people have submitted great corrections. (However, no one should write in the book! That’s just silly!)

The winner gets a signed, limited edition book of their choice from the store or a one hundred and fifty dollar gift certificate to Cemetery Dance. They will also win a copy of the next anthology which will be over 200 pages feature John Edward Lawson, possibly Sarah Pinborough, Eric Enck, possibly Jeff Strand, John Dimes, Joseph McKinney, Benjamin Bussey (and a bunch of others).

Second and third place winners will also win the second anthology for free.

More prizes to be announced.

So, if you want more info, surf that link for Magus Press or “Other Things…Other Places” and get your editor’s hat on!

Still though, I’m going to win… x-P

Jeff Strand? Are you serious? It sounds like a wonderful book…I’ve heard of Erick Enck too, when is this coming out?

You’d have to ask David Montoya on an actual release date and who’s who in it. So far though, the line-up looks darn hot. :)
