I was poking around my subs list yesterday, when I decided I needed to check up on some of these things. I mean, some have been out a long time and I’ve had no word. Since email is such a fickle mistress, I tend to browse the sites for my info…one site in particular, although I’m pretty sure I get their emails, since I’ve been rejected a couple of times. Nice rejections, but rejections none the less. (And no where near as nice as Tim’s, from Black Ink Horror – that man can write some wonderful feather pillows for the rejected author to land on!)

So I wandered over to Alien Skin, where I’d entered the ‘Horror in Science Fiction’ flash contest sometime last spring. Imagine my surprise to see my name on the list of honorable mentions!

One step closer to getting my toe in the door there. I’ll use the pinky toe, since it’s the one that’s nerve-deadened from all the stubbing.
