The first installment of the interview series has been posted to my Associated Content area.
Until 2007, I’d never read anything written by William F. Nolan, but he very quickly became one of my favorite sci-fi/thriller/horror short fiction writers. I had seen bits and pieces of Logan’s Run over the years, and I believe I saw the whole thing as a child (my mother remembered it being at the drive-in, and we always went), so I wasn’t going into the interview entirely blind.

I’m beginning to realize I should have named my youngest daughter, rather than my ex-husband doing it. I would have named her something like Siobhan, or Nuala or something creative.
I guess she’s okay with Carrie, although both of us would be happier if even that was spelled with a celtic flair. Kerry. Dark natured, dark-haired. Suits her.
Anyway, my little celtic daemon has decided she really does like playing the flute, but would rather play one more suited to her heritage.

I was just at Brian Keene’s blog and am still in shock. I keep waiting for someone to jump out and say Punk’d! but I know better.

Donald Westlake, author of more than 100 crime and science-fiction novels and screenplays (including under his pseudonyms of Richard Stark, Tucker Coe, Samuel Holt, Edwin West and others) passed away last night at the age of 75.
