It’s been seven weeks since Gabby Goff at Pretty/Scary posted that the acceptances for the anthology would be going out within the next month. That month was officially up three weeks ago, so I’m marking ‘Supernova’ as rejected.
She isn’t sending rejections, and apparently they aren’t posting a ToC for confirmation either. After my last correspondence, I’m not even going to bother emailing for verification.
I don’t think I’ll be trying that market again, either.

“Days, Hours, Minutes, Seconds” has been accepted into the Parasitic Thoughts anthology, from the Parasitorium writers group. Edited by one sharp-eyed editor, Keith Gouveia (who I’ve shared a ToC with before, in Echoes of Terror, and who I’ve proofed for Lachesis).
Received the pre-print galley for a look-over this morning. Nancy’s in it, too! Yay, us!

So, for all you writer folks out there – you want to win friends and influence editors?
Don’t break every guideline for Apex (or whatever pub I’m slushing and rejecting for), then tell me when, in my rejection letter, I respectfully (yes, I Jodi Lee of Apex Publications used the word respectfully in a rejection) ask that you read the guidelines. Oh, and with at least three grammar and spelling errors in the responses. Plural. Responses.
