It has been a long, hard couple of weeks here. My mom was very ill, and came very close to literally breathing her last. I think it made all of us look at our life choices and such with a little more speculation than we had been previously.
I for one am even more grateful that I kicked the habit years ago, which is something I wish my mother had done. …

After the horrific and tragic events in Boston this week, the troubles we had in the family last week have paled and faded in my mind. Seeing this image this morning makes me wonder what the human race has come to.

I don’t have much time to write this post, and I’ll have to schedule it to post later in the week just in case I can get back and flesh it out. If I don’t, please make do with what’s here. And ignore the sarkiness. If you haven’t noticed yet, I’m a bitter old bitch.
