Some time ago, I set my project list up so I could tick things off as I completed them. These are due on the 5th (mostly self-imposed, but they are actually Belfire deadlines that NEED to be met). By the time this posts, it’ll be the 5th, and I’ll strike-through those that I’ve actually met.

I’ve had a work in progress running for over a decade, I don’t often talk about it anymore because I purposely distanced my beliefs and practices* from the self I was working towards being. I lost a lot of myself in doing so, and am so glad to be finding myself again amidst my notes and files; in this day and age my spirituality really shouldn’t be an issue, anyway.

I am a villain when it comes to plants. I’ve been known to kill silk plants. Yes, really. I watched the leaves fall from a silk arrangement after I’d moved it around a bit and set it out. Generally, house plants are dead within a month, and the longest we’ve had one is six weeks.

So, last week was crazy busy, and I ended up with some computer issues that threw me for a loop like you wouldn’t believe… and I over-reacted and panicked and yeah. Posts here didn’t get done.

One of my favorite guys, a truly great up-and-coming writer, J.L. BenĂ©t, has won a gold medal IPPY in the Horror category for his debut novel (and Belfire release!) Wolf Hunter.
