Into The Teen Years

In which we reflect on 2012 and laugh…
I had huge plans for 2012 that were derailed and adjusted early on, just as every year. I’m not entirely sure that I’ve actually managed to hit every goal set per year for the last eight years. One or two, yes – I can hit one or two. I count that as a win, since (taking Chris Baty’s philosophy and twisting it a bit) finishing something is better than not even starting something.

52Weeks #? – Keep Calm, Carry On

I was one of the lucky ones to receive the blanket statement from Smashwords on Friday – for my account, my personal one. As far as I know, since my work does not contain any of the objectionable material, it will remain on the site. Mark did mention that some works may be accidentally removed during the sweep, and gave instructions on how to remedy the situation should that happen.

52Weeks #2 – Back From the Future

This week’s challenge was to decide whether we’d found ourselves, our soul-compass, yet, and what we would call into our lives to round it out; we were also asked to think about what our 80-year-old self would write in a letter to our present selves. Finally, we were to look at our present selves to see in what ways we’re a goddess. A lot of stuff for one week, and it’s taken two for me to work it all out.
