This has been a very long, very trying summer. I am glad to see the back-end of it, let me tell you! Even though there were some ups, there were a lot of terrible downs. And let-downs, a lot of let-downs; the silver lining there is that I know now who I can turn to when I need to stop being the strong one, the dead one. Bless ‘em!
Inevitably, things run their course, right? And here at casa de crazy, the good is finally starting to out-run the bad.

It’s been over two months since I posted something. In that time, I’ve been absolutely crazy busy, and most of my updates have been in the form of quick fly-bys at Facebook or Twitter. And here we are, Thursday morning, looking at sunny skies and feeling a warm breeze through open windows. In March. In Manitoba. Creepy!
I’ve opened up an edit space in April, and I’ll have two graphics spaces as well (covers, ads, etc.). Things went exceedingly well with another edit I had booked, and it’s completed well ahead of schedule. I did give a half-refund as well, since the edit was barely an edit at all! I was one of the lucky ones to receive the blanket statement from Smashwords on Friday – for my account, my personal one. As far as I know, since my work does not contain any of the objectionable material, it will remain on the site. Mark did mention that some works may be accidentally removed during the sweep, and gave instructions on how to remedy the situation should that happen.
