Wait, wait, wait. There’s only 12 weeks left in 2014? 10-ish weeks until that date I’m not allowed to bring up because it’s not even Halloween yet, and *gasp* just 2 weeks left until NaNoWriMo starts?

No excuses, I’ve been distracted and blindsided this past week. Finally received some work back from my legal buddy, so I was about to load up my Belfire stuff and realized wait a damn minute – it’s Thursday!

On Friday, I took a small piece of my inheritance and went shopping for something I’d been saving for (before trips to the hospital and car repair/borrowing and life intervened). I received an interesting email the other day, and it’s put me in the mode to work – hard – on one of my WIPs. Throughout October, I’ll get it all arranged and planned and thought through. Once NaNo starts November 1st, I’ll be ready to give it my full attention. This one in particular hasn’t seen any attention really, since I don’t even remember when, but I’m going to run off the original 5k that I started with in July of 2008.
